Thai Iced Tea

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons Thai tea leaves
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • Ice cubes

How to Make :

  • Place the Thai tea leaves in a heatproof container or teapot.
  • Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves and let it steep for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Strain the tea leaves using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher or another container.
  • Add sugar to the hot tea and stir until it dissolves completely.
  • Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the chilled Thai tea over the ice, leaving some room at the top.
  • Slowly pour the evaporated milk over the tea, allowing it to create a layered effect.
  • Stir gently to combine the tea and milk before drinking.
